Window & Door Screens
Whether you need to replace a damaged screen or have a completely new screen made, we can help. We offer rescreening on existing frames that are in good condition, as well as new custom-made screens for a variety of windows and doors.
Rescreening Existing Frames
If your existing screen frame is still in good shape, we can replace the screen mesh and give it a fresh, clean fit. Bringing in the existing frame is the easiest way for us to ensure the new screen is made to the correct size and specifications.
New Screens
We make custom screens in two main styles:
No-Lip / Square Bar Screens
Square bar screens have a flush, clean profile and do not have a lip extending over the window frame. They are typically secured using screen pins. A small pin is drilled into the side of the window frame, and a pin-activated pull-bolt secures the screen in place.
Lip-Bar Screens
Lip-bar screens have a small lip that rests on the window frame rather than fitting flush with it. These screens are secured using screen tabs – plastic turn tabs mounted to the face of the window frame with small white screws. The tabs rotate to hold the screen securely in place.

What We Need to Make a New Screen
The easiest option is to bring in your old screen, if you have it. We can use it as a reference for the size, frame style, and method of attachment.
If you don’t have the old screen, we can also work from measurements. Please provide:
- The measurements of the existing screen, including the style of bar used.
- How the screen was secured to the window.
- If the old screen is unavailable, the measurements of the opening where the screen fits.
If you’re unsure what information we need, pictures of the window, opening, and existing screen hardware can be very helpful. When possible, include pictures of the entire window as well as close-ups of how the screen is attached.
